About Vila Viniteca

Vila Viniteca is synonymous with excellence and a benchmark in the world of wine.

Since its founding in 1932 in the Born neighborhood of Barcelona, the Vila grocery store was already selling cases of wine and liquor to local restaurants. In 1993, Joaquim Vila partnered with Francisco Martí—owner of the Ca N’Estruc winery in Esparreguera (Barcelona), whose family has been connected to the wine world since 1548—and they opened a new wine shop on the same street, Agullers.

Over the years, they expanded their wine offerings, selecting emerging producers and adding them to their exclusive catalog. Today, Vila Viniteca exclusively represents some of the best Spanish and international wineries, with its greatest strength being distribution to top restaurants and hotels.

Currently, more than 350 professionals are part of a committed team, organized into various business units that share a passion for the world of wine and gastronomy.
